Your 2028/29 authorization is in. There’s nothing else you need to do, and no need to send a paper form as well.
We’ll confirm by post within a week or two. After that we file with the Nassau County Assessment Review Commission ahead of the March 2027 deadline, and we’ll be in touch when there’s a result.
Keep an eye out for a letter from Property Tax Watchdog, Garden City.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
Within two weeks — a confirmation letter arrives by post
By March 2027 — we file your grievance with ARC
By March 2028 — ARC issues a determination
Summer 2028 — if ARC’s offer isn’t good enough, we go to SCAR
October 2028 — savings, if any, start showing on your school bill
Early 2029 — our bill, if there is one, and only after you’ve seen at least half the savings
